Lisa is a miracle worker. Within moments she had taken one of the most overwhelming situations [of my Squamish storage locker] and made it manageable. My biggest takeaway was, still is, a sense of lightness: Lisa helped lessen the crippling burden of having too much stuff and having to declutter… I stepped away after working with her for a few hours, with half of the amount of clutter, much of it directed to places I felt really positive about (from Squamish women’s shelters to other nonprofits that Lisa had identified as appropriate recipients), along with a plan she helped put in place with ways of moving forward. The emotional weight off my shoulders is huge. The results are instantaneous. Lisa’s manner is gentle and encouraging. She knows the right questions to ask and knows how to support you through some of the harder dilemmas. She provides resources, options, and momentum and smiles throughout. Working with Lisa is a delight, and the service she is providing is so highly recommended to families and individuals facing the tricky situation of how to honour heirlooms, navigating hoarding situations, and needing to make difficult choices.
